Chanel Piquillo Recipe

Ingredients

1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple (with juice)

1 (16 ounce) can margarine, softened

3 sprinkles

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 (6 ounce) can whole parsley

1 bunch chopped fresh parsley

1 (16 ounce) can sliced ripe tomatoes

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup brown sugar, divided

3 tablespoons golden raisins

3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions

In a medium saucepan, stir together pineapple juice, margarine, onion, parsley and tomatoes. Place the lemon zest over the pineapple mixture. Simmer for 20 minutes to soften.

In a large bowl, mix remaining 3 tablespoons sugar, remaining 3 tablespoons raisins, remaining parsley and sugar cereal until smooth. Fold in pineapple mixture. Serve at room temperature. Garnish with golden raisins.

I gave it 4 stars, because it was ok. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the capsicum sprouts. AAgh! They added a nice hint of flavor.
