2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 fluid ounces chili powder
1 cup onion juice
1 cup sliced red onion, divided
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers (reserve 2 cans)
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (8 ounce) can sliced black olives
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until juices run clear. Drain.
Stir in chili powder and onion juice. Mix well. Add garlic, sugar, salt and pepper; mix well. Add tomatoes with green chile peppers, mushrooms, olives and hamburger sauce.
Cover skillet and simmer 2 minutes. Add chicken and vegetables; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
