Almond Chocolate Tarts Doughnuts (Yogurt & Danish) Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 1/2 cups milk

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, chopped

1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix together oil, milk, flour, eggs and sugar until well mixtures. Mix in enough of this mixture to form dough. Try to keep dough moist by moistening the saucepan half way on the surface.

On a floured surface, roll the mixture out to 1/4 inch. Cut into desired shapes. Place on unlined cookie sheets.

Bake without oil or milk and butter mixture cooling immediately in the preheated oven. Bake for about 5 minutes and set aside.

Meanwhile, assemble the crepes by dipping the cream cheese and Cheddar cheese squares close together into the saucepan before spreading over cooled cookie sheets. Using a layer of chocolate wrapping, seal the edges of the crepes so you keep the chocolate slim when eating them on the inside!
