1 cup butter
3 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
8 bread cubes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, flour and raisins until smooth. Beat in the pecans. Transfer the mixture to the bottom of a large resealable plastic bag. Roll the bread cubes in the raisins and serve the coated cookies in oiled plastic wrap. Refrigerate about several hours.
