5 tablespoons butter, divided
4 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10 inch jelly-roll pan or 10 inch, stiff baking sheet.
In a small bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, flour and orange juice. Beat until smooth. Stir into the creamed bottom of the pie pan. Pour evenly over pie.
Bake in preheated oven until golden and bubbly, about 12 minutes. Cool until set. Slice the pie and reseal if stuck. Garnish each piece with a drizzle of orange salting syrup.
