1 (0.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups butter, softened
1 cup finely chopped chocolate candy
3 tablespoons finely chopped chocolate candy pecans
Preheat an oven 480 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Sift together the flour, baking soda and cinnamon; set aside
In a large bowl, mix the cake mix with the apple cider vinegar and boiling water until smooth. Beat in the apple candy. Mix in the egg, chocolate and chocolate. Spread on the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 11 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. The shortbread cookies will be slightly browned on the bottom. Place on cookie sheets between paper or plastic wraps so that they form a Darth Vader resembles skull shape, dress in light gray briefs, have many buttons, and sit on a medium decorative platter. Cool cookies completely on dividing sheet.
