Honey Hoppin' Honey Hoppin' Crust Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup flour

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 egg, lightly beaten

3 tablespoons honey

6 tablespoons honey

1/4 teaspoon dried lemon zest

1 teaspoon rum flavored extract

2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar

2 teaspoons lemon zest, crushed

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Directions

Sift together the flour, butter and sugar. Beat until well blended. Fold in the egg, honey, honey, lemon zest, rum extract, vinegar and lemon zest.

Pour mixture into the prepared crust with a spoon. Chill for several hours before shaping into a loaf. Refrigerate overnight before cutting into bars.
