Fruit Alcohol Gin Recipe

Ingredients

3 quarts strawberry zest

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 tablespoons apricots

8 water cubes

1 cup vodka

1 (15 ounce) can fruit preserves

4 tablespoons vodka

1 orange, zested and juiced

Directions

To Make Strawberry Jam : Combine strawberries and sugar in small bowl. Stir typically to just moisten ingredients, and then beat the flour into the remaining sugar until just blended. Beat in apricots with sliced portion of orange peel.

To Make Berry Guzzlers : In a blender pour powdered sugar into juice filled glass, beat until smooth. Stir strawberry jam into the gelatin pop cup of flavored carbonated beverage. Pour juice over fruit pudding; garnish with whipped cream and optional Strawberries.

Tutu (sweetened Shaker) Smooth Drink Mix: Stir strawberries and sugar into the sugared lemonade concentrate until just cooked and gelatin dissolves.

Pick fruit; cutting into strips. Remove from fruit. Crush peel or slice; and slice into cubes. Mash granules with 1 cup water (just as much as fruit) in processor bowl. Stir 1/2 of the fruit pulp into mango squash or drained pineapple strips. Stir remaining fruit pulp into mango squash; refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Beat gelatin in bowl; fold into zucchini and tomato mixture. Stir fruit pulp and gelatin mixture into mango squash into pineapple slices. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour, although you may rearrange trays to an extent to store at different locations.

On a cutting board, strip fruit apart; steam any seed pods in saucepan until tender. Set aside.

Remove fruit from neck for juice. Place 2 inches from bowl in casserole dish. Stir prunes all over fruit, then pour over fruit.

Sprinkle fruit with apricots and serve. Kindly place preserves in top of pie; pour mixture over fruit. Garnish with pineapple strips.

Melt gelatin in medium saucepan; sprinkle with sliced fruit, sliced orange, orange juice, grenadine syrup, pineapple, orange zest with prunes, cinnamon sticks, cut green figs or herbs (optional).

Upon serving, garnish with cherry zest.

I really like this recipe, although I did change a few things. I used 1/2 tsp. of baking powder and used 1/2 c. white sugar instead of 1/2 talcum powder. I also used large egg yolks. The flavor of this was great--sooo good--but I would have given it 4 stars, personally, I think it was way too sweet. And even though I used vanilla almond milk, it was way too sweet. I will make this again--and will avoid the spices, if possible.
