1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup dry-roasted peanuts
In a medium bowl, cream together 1 cup butter and 2 eggs until smooth. Stir in vanilla and flour. Stir in the baking powder, baking soda, baking powder, and baking soda. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly studded. Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute. Remove from cooling sheets to cool on wire racks.
