3 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried horseradish
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed, or to taste
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried dry savory
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 2/3 cups water
1 (16 ounce) package chopped mixed veal
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain excess grease. (Note: Make sure your sausage is cooked completely and no grease oozes.)
In a mixing bowl, mash together mustard, paprika, jalapeno pepper, garlic powder, horseradish, rosemary, sage, oregano, basil, water and mixed veal. Mix thoroughly.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto one portion of hamburger. Top with remaining mixture and sprinkle with remaining mustard and paprika.
Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
