6 pounds ground beef
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place hamburger in a 13x9 inches roasting pan. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the top. Drizzle with oil, vinegar, salt, garlic, thyme, parsley, sage, thyme, rosemary, brown sugar and egg. Place in oven for 1 hour, (the longer it cooks, the longer it tenderizes). Ward off air particles and give room to flame. Bake an additional 25 minutes.
Spoon half of the beef mixture into the roasting pan. Top with the bread crumb mixture. Pour with remaining 1/4 cup of the beef mixture. Sprinkle remaining bread crumbs over roast. Cover, and bake for 1 hour. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue cooking for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the loaf is cool, ladle it with half of the bread crumb mixture. Serve loaf with sliced bread, tomato slices and baked potatoes.
