Easy Pan Steamed Banana Split Recipe

Ingredients

2 bananas

1/2 cup white sugar

1 1/4 cups water

1/3 cup boiling water

1 cup

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/4 cup orange juice

1 teaspoon orange juice

4 teaspoons milk

1 tablespoon lemon extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Place bananas in a large resealable plastic bag. Cover tightly with plastic wrap; refrigerate until serving.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Place bananas in a blender or food processor, and puree until smooth. Set aside to cool.

Beat sugar, water, boiling water, lemon juice, orange juice, orange juice and milk in medium mixing bowl. Stir banana puree into sugar mixture alternately with lemon extract. Pour mixture into refrigerator to chill.

Rate heat in small saucepan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until bananas are tender. Remove from pan, and allow to cool.

When bananas are cool, peel and cut into strips. Serve warm. Spoon half of banana mixture into individual fruit slices. Serve with whipped cream and whipped cream cheese.
