Batrice I Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 (12 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers

1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 cup tomato puree

1 1/2 ounces Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large skillet, fry ground beef until brown. Drain excess grease from pan. Stir peppers and tomatoes into the skillet, turning frequently. Saute until vegetables are tender.

Add garlic, tomato puree and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet and skin well. Remove pan from oven.

Pour tomato puree mixture over all and stir mixture into skillet.

Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce over the entire mixture and mix gently. Sprinkle over tomato mixture, then salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes from start to finish. Baste as needed. Serve warm with spaghetti sauce from time to time.

Good recipe. I usedaksauce instead of oil, added a bit of garlic powder, cracked black pepper, used half of a dried chicken and added 2 tsp tomato paste. Came out pretty darn good!
