1 cup butter, softened
2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) package nonstick chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
