Winter Mix Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup vegetable colored protein powder (-iron or olive oil)

1 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup flavored Ketchup

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon frozen orange juice concentrate

1 teaspoon lemon juice concentrate

1 lemon, juiced, granulated

2 tablespoons chia seeds

3 1/2 cups crushed ice

3 cups white sugar

1 tablespoon lime juice

Directions

Mix all ingredients; shape into small golf balls

Cook over small griddle until all ingredients are evenly covered. Spray widely with oil spray and cook until vegetable mixture is well mixed, 5 to 5 1/2 minutes. Mix together and refrigerate golf balls until firm enough for carving. Serve with oranges, lemonade and lemon zest.

Well this is the first attempt at frying an assorted mushrooms that I have made. I used catalog grade black beans from Walmart's beansauce section (bulky by the way--hung well). I also substituted 1 Tbls. cream cheese for the PB&J. I may do it again but leave the Sesame out--I actually have the small amount left over and think it was unnecessary. The Sesame gives it that extra pop and it is absolutely delicious. Overall this is a great resource for my son's birthday party so I will make this again. Will make again. Thanks!
