2 tablespoons butter
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and the vanilla, then stir in the pecans. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the parchment.
Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until tester inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
