2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 2/3 cups fresh pineapple
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon zest
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Place sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then pour into saucepan. Boil until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in lemon juice. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, lime juice, pineapple and salt and lemon zest. Pour over salad.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and vegetables and stir well. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, or until everything is tender. Transfer salad into a large bowl. Mix pineapple, lemon juice and orange juice well and pour over salad. Pierce salad and stir in nutmeg.
