Okra Fill Recipe

Ingredients

1 large onion, sliced

3 tablespoons butter

1 ounce bread crumbs

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons white sugar

2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar

2 tablespoons margarine

2 cups water

Directions

Melt butter in 1 large skillet over medium heat. Cook onion and saute until golden. Drain off grease from skillet and stir in bread crumbs.

Mix in Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar, margarine and water to butter mixture. Bring to a slow simmer and continue cooking 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and coats the back of a metal spoon. Remove skillet from heat.
