2 cups total oil for frying
2 (8 ounce) cans sliced apple
1 (8 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 (10 ounce) can frozen whipped topping, thawed
Heat oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Fry apple in oil until golden brown, about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove from oil and place into large bowl; cool slightly. Add chicken, brown sugar, corn, and whipped topping. Mix well. Heat oil in skillet or pan to 375 degrees F (190 degree C).
Fry chicken, apple, and apple mixture 2 to 3 minutes each side, mixing thoroughly. Turn chicken and apple mixture over to coat; fry 2 to 4 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.
