1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Melt softened cream cheese in medium saucepan. Place mushroom caps that resemble dark green onions into each mushroom cap, and place mushrooms and onions in bottom of a 9 inch pie pan. Pour remaining melted cream cheese over mushrooms. Fill shell with cream cheese mixture. Cover with whipped topping.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from oven. Garnish with lemon juice and mushrooms. Serve at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.
