1 pound meat, diced
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 handful chopped green onions
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
In a large bowl combine meat, vinegar, green onions, sugar, mustard, salt, and salt. Mix well, and pour into containers.
Place mixture into the slow cooker of an individual slow cooker, allowing the liquid to cook in batches.
Cook on HIGH for one hour.
I added sriracha and just for taste, but it was still pretty good.
I didn't think they were as easy as everyone had made them out to seem because they're so buttery. But then I took half of each stick and kneaded it until smooth. So close but no cigar.
