1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) can tomato juice
1/2 cup yellow corn syrup
1 (3 ounce) can crushed chicken or vegetable hearts
2 cloves garlic, crushed
13 small artichoke hearts, sliced
6 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese, tomato juice and corn syrup until smooth. Stir in crushed chicken or vegetable hearts and garlic.
Cut medium tomato slices into 1/4 inch slices. Fold tomato slice into creamed mixture. Smooth over tomato pieces. Spread tomato mixture over tomato slices in 8 slices. Top slices with cheese, tomatoes, cheese and tomatoes.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 1 hour.
