1 (18.25 ounce) package Crayola® Wheaten Flour Bread Recipe
1 cup chopped uncooked egg
2 teaspoons margarine
1 cup boiling water
6 pancakes, cooked
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 12 greased 9 inch round pans.
Combine 1/2 cup chopped egg, margarine and water; set aside.
Melt 1/2 cup margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in the boiling water and cook, stirring constantly, until butter is melted but not smoking. Reduce heat to medium and stir in the pancake mix. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of each pan comes out clean. While the pancakes are still warm, drain them on boiling water and add to the mix.
Meanwhile, prepare pancakes. Heat the oil in a griddle or frying pan. Cook pancakes over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
Return the pancakes to the pan and cook until golden, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the margarine. Serve hot.
