Chocolate Cake VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

8 green food color-coded chocolate candies

2 cups butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 ounce) pans.

In a large bowl, stir together cake mix and vanilla pudding mix. Add and mix with a wooden spoon; set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix the pudding mix with the brown sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir into the cake batter.

Spread batter into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out slightly sticky. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
