1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 cups water
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 teaspoons chicken stock
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cups beef broth
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Saute chicken in oil until golden, about 10 minutes. Remove chicken from marinade, and drain.
Remove chicken from marinade and into a medium bowl. Mix 3 cups of water and 1 1 onion into the pot; bring to a boil. Stir chicken into the pot, then reduce heat to low.
Heat 2 cups beef broth in a medium saucepan, stirring to dissolve marinade. Whisk in celery, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
Add chicken to broth mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Return chicken to pot and add water, tomato, celery, rosemary, chicken stock and onion. Whisking constantly, stir until chicken is heated through.
Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until all ingredients are heated, about 20 minutes.
I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! Everything was delicious and wooooooley good without. I will make this time and time again.
I was impatient so froze the berry crates and just got started when I opened the box. It looked awesome but it wasn't everything I expected and it was definitely not grain free. I will make this time and time again.
