1 (18 ounce) can peperonata
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (6 ounce) can sliced almonds, drained
1 (5 ounce) can chopped black walnuts, drained
1 cup sliced fresh pineapple
2 cups sliced almonds
In a blender, combine peperonata, orange juice, orange zest, lemon juice, almonds and pineapple. Blend until smooth. Pour into frozen marinade. Store ice cream in refrigerator.
