1 tomato, sliced
1 pound pizza crust dough, crusts cut into 1 inch cubes
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup water, or as needed
3 tablespoons chopped tomato
In a spice-packed large saucepan, combine the olive oil, 3/4 cup water, tomatoes and 1 pound pizza crust cubes. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until pulp is tender and water is evaporated.
