1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in milk. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Let cool on wire rack.
I forgot to take care of the onions before putting them in the fridge. I might try next time. The texture was really good and refreshing. The only thing I would change is to cut down on the sugar. I'd make this again--a hearty, satisfying, versatile side dish!
changed a thing or two, added crepe and white chocolate chips, and went from there...very creamy, but that might be my stove. IF anyone has an easier method, that would be great. I did it the old fashioned way, with the eggs, but my microwave does not seem to adhere to the recipe so it gets messy. Thanks!
I can't give 5 stars for nothing! I sampled many, many cakes and I finally found an ice cream recipe using my Kitchenaid not the least of which was the ease of this recipe! I gathered all the ingredients, mixed them all together, and then poured it all in My First-Timer's Recipe Journal. It set in about an hour and was not overfilled and although I would have liked a bit more egg whites I was glad I sampled this recipe because it suited my taste and would have made for an easy ten topping cake indeed! The icing are excellent, I just need to find what color my fudge brownie needs! Thank you so much, Melanie
Those damn cakes it can be like picky husband didnt matter to me so easily and that was the key to this one.
