1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 egg yolks
3/4 cup diced cooked or frozen banana
1 cup chopped cilantro
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
To grease a 10x15 inch casserole dish, melt chocolate and butter together over medium heat in a large bowl.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine shortening, 1/2 cup white sugar, egg yolks, banana, cilantro and green pepper. Cook until sugar is heated, stirring occasionally. Use a candy thermometer to make sure it is not too hot.
