Chocolate Nut Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package vanilla frosting

1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 cup chocolate syrup

1 cup water

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8x8 inch pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the milk, oil, and chocolate syrup. Stir in the water and oil mixture. Beat in the vanilla and baking soda. Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in pan before frosting.
