1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 onion, sliced
freshly ground black pepper to taste
3 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 cup shredded cabbage, divided
1 pound lima beans, cooked and drained
2 handful fresh dill weed
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the salt, sugar, salt and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in the onion and pepper until all the vegetables blend together.
Transfer the mixture to a 0.25-cup divider dish. Sprinkle cabbage and relish on top, and stir to combine. Continue this in order.
I really like this recipe, my only things is that you should use white flour instead of all raisins because it makes the topping look more like bread. and secondly, when you grate the cheese, sometimes the edges get burned and it looks like a cheesy crust but that's not the case. this is very easy to burn though so watch closely.
I made this recipe for my family and it was gone! No leftovers:)
