1/2 cup butter, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray an 11x7 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
Beat butter and eggs in small bowl until smooth. Mix sugar with flour and baking powder; pour into baking pan
Beat lemon juice and lemon zest into butter mixture. Stir the lemon zest into remaining lemon zest. Pour milk and lemon juice mixture into baking pan. Sprinkle with buttercream frosting and confectioners' sugar to frost on top.
Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 1 inch squares.
