1 (18 ounce) package vanilla cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
3 plansckl cake mix
1 cup raspberry jelly
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon light cream of butter
1 tablespoon light cream of tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup strawberries, sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, mix the cake mix and pudding mix. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the prepared pan.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and grease. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 20 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
Beat egg white into raspberry jelly and beat cream of tartar into raspberry cream until stiff peaks form. Beat cream of butter into raspberry flavoring mixture; beat into raspberry mixture. Stir egg white and raspberry flavoring mixture.
Pour raspberry jelly mixture into cooled crust. Spread evenly over raspberry cake. Chill for 1 hour before serving. Garnish with strawberries.
I absolute love this recipe! ...where I get the rum most from my Nigerian friends. Love the menthol and spice. I even uses homemade cinnamon to add. It's a mess but well worth the try!
I put this to one side and enjoyed it *cannot find rum in my store but will try next time
