Taco Pita Pockets Recipe

Ingredients

2 slices bacon

1 pound ground beef

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 (16 ounce) can refried beans

1 (2.25 ounce) can tomato paste

1 (16 ounce) can refried beans

1 (8 ounce) can diced green chile peppers with liquid

1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste with green chile peppers

1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix

Directions

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain grease from skillet. Return grease to skillet. Fry bacon until evenly brown. Drain off grease.

Place pork in large skillet. Cook over medium heat until brown. Drain off grease. Add meat to skillet. Fry until evenly brown. Drain off grease.

Place eggs in a medium bowl. Place 1/2 cup of hot water into skillet. Saute over medium heat, stirring often, until tenderized. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs, tomato paste, refried beans and diced green chiles.

Stir in taco seasoning mix. Cook over medium heat until heated through.
