Marinated Muscle-Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups frozen mixed vegetables

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

2 tablespoons light brown sugar

1 teaspoon crushed crushed red pepper

1 1/2 cups whole kernel pumpkin

1/3 cup evaporated milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place vegetable mixture in a shallow 9 inch pie pan. Pour melted butter over vegetable mixture and press pumpkin into center of pie. Place pumpkin in pie dish and drizzle with evaporated milk. Pour into pie.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove lid from pie. Remove from oven. Cool completely. Refrigerate 4 to 10 hours or until firm. Serve warm.

I didn't really care for the soup, but it was still pretty good. Probably won't make it again.
