Meat and Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

6 slices pork

3 potatoes, cubed

1/2 pound lean ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork

1 onion, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

1 (28 ounce) can Irish cream pop

1 (20 ounce) can smoked boneless pork chops, drained with liquid reserved

1 cup milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a large skillet. Season pork with salt and pepper; cut each slice into 1-inch cubes. Arrange potatoes in skillet, with pork cubes sitting inside. Cook 20 minutes down ROAD, or, to desired doneness.

Heat milk in one or two tablespoon tablespoons over medium-high heat in skillet; pour over bacon and potatoes. Cook 2 to 3 minutes more. Spoon mashed potatoes into skillet, and drop in milk. Cook 2 minutes more. Spoon in remaining 1 tablespoon milk, crumbs and sausage, bring to a boil. (Note: You may not want to boil the potatoes. If potatoes are too hot, add milk or another couple tablespoons of water.) Cook 15 to 20 minutes, or until potatoes and potatoes are crisp-tender. Serve immediately.
