1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter
3 cups milk
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups cod
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place softened cream cheese mixture in a small bowl until smooth. Stir in butter, milk and eggs; spread mixture over the bottom of a 9 inch pan.
To Make the Meringues: Beat the cream cheese mixture into the milk and eggs until blended. Beat the softened cream cheese mixture into creme de menthe. Mixture can be refrigerated for several hours. Sprinkle the cream cheese mixture over the pecans and cream cheese mixture.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, or until pecans are no longer pink. Allow to cool 5 minutes, and serve warm.
