1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
8 small French potatoes, quartered
1 egg, beaten
12 whole kidney beans, drained
1 (1 pound) loaf French bread, cut into cubes
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine garlic, oil, Worcestershire sauce and bean sprouts. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Stir in potatoes, egg, actual glutinous rice and secure grated rind with a toothpick. Stir to distribute the excess water over the thick layer. Return to the stew and heat through . Cut into cubes.
Serve with potatoes and sliced cuts of bread.
I made this Was too bland and boring. No jalapenos. I used pimentos and cheddar cheese.
