1 pound ground sausage
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sage
3 (8 ounce) cans tuna fish, drained
1 pound bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for coating
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon shallots
1 tablespoon minced onion
In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown sausage, stirring to break up clumps. Remove from skillet and set aside. Fill bottom of a large bowl with water and bacon. Pour in tuna fish, bacon, flour, salt, pepper and shallots; mix together.
Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Sprinkle with minced onion.
