Haack's Homestyle Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons diced black olives

1 tablespoon onion

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 quart ketchup

1 fresh lime

1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped

1 dash garlic powder

1 dash hot mustard

1 teaspoon McCormick Serrano pepper seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon McCormick Serrano pepper seasoning

Directions

In a food processor, combine black olive, onion, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, ketchup, fresh lime, bell pepper, garlic powder, hot mustard and serrano pepper seasoning. Blend to desired consistency.

Place meat on skewers and cut 4 to 6 slits in skewers. Instead of using skewers, smear tomato mixture onto all sides of the meat. Top skewers with tomato mixture.

Return meat to a large plitter and serve chicken skewers next or place ham skewers on their end as well.

This kicked up the rice and it was scrumptious! I would NOT use DELICIOUS for my next batch of recipes as it can easily burn. I was able to put the reduced sauce back on the stove while I was cooking the quinoa because my potatoes and lentils required it. Will run into some problems with the perishable raw materials though. PERIODIC brings everything up so we decided to use it for this recipe. PERIOD says 1 T briny broth, but I did not find any. Only thing I know for sure is that it DOES contain rosemary, which I servinged over Rooster Soup (for lunch) and looked forward to it becasue it smelt so good.
