6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup cooked and diced onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 cup ketchup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
1 (10 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag. Place chicken into bag with the garlic, olive oil, onion, celery, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Seal bag and place into plastic container.
Put ketchup and chicken broth into a shallow bowl. Stir in chicken and celery mixture. Pour chicken mixture over chicken. Top with chile peppers and brown sugar. Process thoroughly.
Really great recipe; very easy and quick to execute. I was worried that the dough balls might be tacky but they are lovely and functional.
