Russian Sausage Soup II Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

4(11 ounce) cans tomato juice

4 cups beef broth

8 bay leaves

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 pounds bacon

1 pound processed cheese, cubed

Directions

In a medium pot over high heat, saute the ground beef until brown. Add garlic powder and tomato juice; reduce heat, cover, and simmer until cheese has melted, 4 to 6 hours.
