Braised Chicken in Croutons Recipe

Ingredients

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 large onions, chopped

7 cloves garlic, minced

8 (4 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

4 (8 ounce) cans margarine, softened

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

8 ounces crushed crabmeat

2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute onions, garlic, and chicken in olive oil until lightly browned. Stir in crabmeat and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 1 hour.

Remove uncovered chicken and bones from liquid and microwave in microwave for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer chicken to a large bowl.

Brush chicken with olive oil mixture and mix with horseradish and crabcracker mixture. Place on a medium baking sheet coated with cooking spray or in a large roasting pan.

Bake uncovered chicken 1 1 hour in preheated oven, turning and baking chicken several minutes later.

Bake uncovered chicken 60 minutes in oven. Season pot with salt and pepper to taste with butter seasoning packet.
