6 slices bacon, diced
1 cup finely diced onion
1 cup finely diced celery
1 cup finely diced celery
1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed mushroom blanched slivered almonds
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Bake bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove bacon, crumble and set aside.
Place onion and celery into a large skillet over medium heat. Saute for 5 minutes, stirring to break up some of the brown bits. Stir in celery and onion mixture. Put the sliced bacon in the skillet, add the onions and celery, then stir to coat. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in the milk, eggs and cheese. Pour the mixture over the bacon and onions. Set aside to cool.
