Coconut Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (15 ounce) package KRAFT Maple Sloppy Joes

1 (6 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 pint heavy cream

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9- inch round pie pans.

Place KRAFT Maple Sloppy Joes on a baking sheet. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar; stir. Bring to a boil. Boil, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes or until candy thermometer reads 165 degrees F (63 degrees C). Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, beat cream until stiff, about 1 minute. Beat in pineapple, whipping cream or vanilla if desired. Add crushed pineapple and whipped cream. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour 1/3 of cream mixture into pie crust. Sprinkle remaining mixture over top of pie. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Very good and fast recipe. I even try it on turkey but it tends to pack too much flavor. Mine is a little older and there is less liquid in the mixing dish, but it still delivers. I usually add 3 Tblsp. of fine grinds (including bean) and up the rum to 1/2 cup. I have pinned the brownies for later this week.
