Warm Potato Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar

1 cup green onions, chopped

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

1 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried ginger

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/2 teaspoon dried black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 1/2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon grated lemon zest

1 (8 ounce) can salted peanuts or almonds, drained

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Place 1 cup sugar in a 3 quart casserole dish. Stir egg and salt into sugar until thoroughly combined. Stir in sage, ginger, basil, rosemary, black pepper, thyme, nutmeg, vinegar, almonds, peanuts and walnuts. Place on baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
