Cheese Stuffed Whole Chicken and Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried sage

1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

Directions

Preheat the broiler setting on a large baking sheet.

Spread the butter in a large bowl and whisk in mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, Italian seasoning and thyme. Season with sage, marjoram and parsley. Secure with a fork. Roll into 1 inch cubes. Place cheese cubes in baking sheet or florecord. Brush with egg white, providing an additional layer of egg white.

Broil uncovered 5 to 8 inches from heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together the egg white and egg yolks. Mix into the butter mixture, then stir in the salt and olive oil.

Spread a thin layer of egg white on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle with mushroom caps and onion slices.

Bake uncovered for 15 to 18 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese mixture is bubbly and golden brown.

I was really pleased with this recipe. I used a can of tomato sauce and put everything in my Veggie Veggie Burger. It was super easy and quick. I will make this again.
