2 eggs
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup lemon juice
1 (16 ounce) package dried chocolate covered strawberries
1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla. Stir in lemon juice and lemon-lime soda, and gradually beat in flour mixture. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
