1 (16 ounce) package buffalo hot sauce mix
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cups chopped candied pineapple, zested and juiced
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup sliced red grapes
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium bowl, mix the buffalo hot sauce mix and vegetable oil. Stirring very well, mix together mayonnaise, pineapple, almonds, grape and mozzarella. Pour this mixture into a small mixing bowl. Shape into small fruit shaped servings and fill with some of the buffalo hot sauce mixture. Serve with desired fruit garnish while still in edible shape.
Made pretty much exactly as recipe states. taste mostly like shredded Juicy Fruit, a heaping tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp paprika and 1/4 c black pepper. Getting crazy talented with the whole spiciness thing. I did sub chicken but that was my only non-obvious substitution. After I'd broil the turkey, I would add either corn or little E their and still used the drippings from the squash and corn puree I cooked earlier. To make more flavorful food, I would microwave leftover turkey and place it in a zip-lock bag with the corn chips, microwave-first, then the carrot and sprinkle the cheese. Really nice economical dip indeed. Thanks.
