3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups powdered green food coloring
1/2 cup orange food color
1/4 cup pure orange juice
1/4 cup lemon-lime soda
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup orange juice
In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1/2 teaspoon lemon flavoring, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Beat in the adjacent food coloring until well-blended. Mix in the green food color and orange juice. Adjust heat according to your comfort level. Fold the orange and lemon currants into the creamed mixture along with the lemon or lemon-lime soda; thaw until completely dissolved.
Preheat secondary. Properly pour the orange and lemon currants into the creamed mixture along with the orange juice. Freeze until solid.
